Closed on: Mondays, 27 April (King’s Day), 25 December, 1 January and (in the week prior to an opening) during the installation of new exhibitions.
Open on all other holidays, including Easter Monday and Whit Monday.
Huis Marseille is best reached by bicycle or public transport. Note: Amsterdam’s public transport network is about to change. Until 21 July: take tram 1, 2 or 5 from the Central Station and get off at the ‘Keizersgracht’ stop. After 21 July: take tram 1, 11 or 12 from the Central Station and get off at the ‘Keizersgracht’ stop. If you are traveling by car, you can park in Q-Park Europarking (Marnixstraat) or in parking garage Kalverstaat (Singel).
Due to the historical character of the two canal houses in which Huis Marseille is located, the museum is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.
Do you wish to visit Huis Marseille with a group? Please notify us at least one week in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org. A group of 8 or more will pay our reduced admission fee of € 4,– pp.
It is possible to book a guided tour during openings hours. Send an e-mail to email@example.com for more information. Do you wish to give your own tour or bring your own tour guide? Please take note of our following rules:
- You are required to notify us at least one week ahead of time by e-mailing to firstname.lastname@example.org
- The group must be no larger than 15 persons
Huis Marseille is not for rent as a location for receptions, drinks or private exhibitions, or for other commercial activities which are not initiated by Huis Marseille.

Huis Marseille is always interested in new work, great photobooks and interesting propositions. However, due to the large volume of work we receive and the limited time and size of our staff, we ask that you follow our submission procedure.
